Hi, I’m Yuliya Whiston - founder of Altair Recruitment.

Before I stepped into recruitment over five years ago, I built my career hands-on working in sales and ecommerce roles across the travel industry, including startups.

I’ve been in the shoes of the candidates I now represent, and I understand what growing brands really need because I’ve lived it. After almost 10 years in Ecommerce, I made the leap into recruitment. I’ve been lucky to work with some incredible brands in the past, like Lorna Jane, Accent Group, Baby Bunting, and Domino’s, placing high-performing talent across eComm, digital, and ops.

I started Altair to offer a more personalised, no-fluff approach to recruitment. I’m known for going the extra mile, sticking with even the trickiest briefs, and spotting potential where others don’t. My focus is on finding people who not only fit the role but also fuel long-term growth - with culture, capability, and future in mind.
